It’s Perfect for a PSP.
I purchased this back in Dec ‘09, and am still loving it. The ONLY gripe I have is that it takes the PSP (when woken from sleep or turned on) about 1.5 seconds to realize the card is in there, but this doesn’t effect saving games or loading. I have a couple games installed, Dissidia and MHFU. I also have my digital copy of District 9 and a bunch of downloaded PSP games from the PS Store. I curently have 20GB left after all that. I can fit my entire iTunes music library on this thing and still not fill it. If you’re looking for a large memory card for turning your PSP into a serious portable entertainment device look no further. Although it is a bit pricey I’d much rather purchase the largest memory card rather than continuously spend money upgrading from a 2GB, to a 4GB, to an 8GB etc. If you’re short on memory buy this, if you’re short on money then wait until the price drops. 4 Stars.

Sony 32gb memory stick
Just used this stick for a tour of Italy. At HD HQ setting it took 9 days of shooting at the Vatican, Forum, Sorrento, Pompeii, and more. Each day I shot over 150 scenes. No function or graduation will last longer than what this chip will hold unless the ultimate HD settings are used. Even then, I had 3 hours a day to play with. Though expensive, I feel it is a must have item.

Klipsch RF-83, an awesome sounding speaker ! ! !
I purchased my pair of Klipsch RF-83 Speakers approx. 1 year ago and shortly after wards noticed a very small indentation when the lighting was directed towards the speakers in a particular angle. I contacted the Klipsch Company and without hesitation they shipped and paid all expenses of the shipping and also the return of the speaker with the very small indentation. Afterwards Klipsch consumer relations department kept in close contact with concern that I was satisfied with everything else pertaining with my purchase of my Klipsch speakers. The deep rich quality of the highs and lows that these speakers produce is nothing short of incredible. I can either turn the volume very low or direct most of the power from my 130 watts per channel onkyo receiver with no distortion or loss of sound quality, in short these speakers are an awesome investment, and I’m completely satisfied with their performance that exceed my expectations that I would expect from the Klipsch Company.

I am glad I bought these speakers
These speakers are replacing some I have had since 1979, I have had the RF-83s for about a month and I am very pleased with them.

The soundstage is deep and the imaging is excellent.
Plus you don’t have to sit in a ’sweet spot’ to get the good sound.
There are details in the instrument’s sound that I have not been able to pick out before.
Initially I was listening to the speakers instead of the music and these speakers are very easy to listen to.
Voices sound natural and the bass is well defined and deep.
The sound of these speakers is rich, full, and very satisfying.

You may see people write that horn tweeters are bright or harsh and cause listening fatigue on other review sites or forums … all I have to say about that is they have not heard these speakers.

In movies I can hear each sound individually instead of it becoming just a loud undefined crash. For example in the movie I Robot when Will Smith is in the house that the demo bot tears down there is a scene where the floor falls and all kinds of debris is sliding down along with Smith and the cat.
I never noticed that this was not just a big crashing noise before, but in this busy scene these speakers keep all those sounds organized and you can hear the individual pieces as they slide down and bump into one another.

Not sure what else to say, if you are looking at speakers in this price class these are certainly worth the time to listen to.

A Worthy Speaker Choice
I have had these speakers for 8 months now and remain very impressed. I traded some Tannoys which were a bit colored and have not regretted the switch. The Tannoys were good but after 10 years I needed a change.

These speakers are clear and have very low distortion. There is no harshness at all from good recordings. I have juggled amps and find my Onkyo gives the best result. I have another amp and get a somewhat thin presentation. So keep in mind this product mirrors the electronic source very faithfully.

Bass is very powerful and extended. The highs are not forward and are accurate. In short, the RF-83s will satisfy audio snobs like myself who also have a limited budget. My digital source is a Sony blu-ray player so I clearly don’t use high end stuff all the way through.

If you are interested in modern Klipsch technology go to a shop and give these speakers listen.

Adult Swim’s Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law may have gone the design of the dodo, but the episodes still in this third DVD volume feature more spirited hysterics from the superhero turned lawyer. In this collection, Harvey (voiced by Gary Cole) has to deal with the death of Phil Ken Sebben (voiced by Stephen Colbert) as well as endure his high school reunion. Birdgirl (voiced by Paget Brewster) also returns, and there’s even more insane and hilarious moments to reach that gain no sense whatsoever. If there’s any drawbacks to these episodes, it’s that once Colbert departed the explain, he was sorely missed to say the least. His vocal talents as Phil Ken Sebben and Reducto was one of the best elements of the explain, and while it was incredibly humorous how his characters met their demise, his presence was aloof missed. That aside though, there’s aloof stout work from Cole, Thomas Allen as Peanut, the enormous John Michael Higgins as Mentok, and Chris Edgerly as Potamus. Not to mention that the “Sebben & Sebben Employee Orientation” episode, which spoofs orientation videos for unique employees, is worth the note of admission alone. All in all, this is yet another Adult Swim DVD that is an principal consume up.

The third season of Harvey Birdman is ravishing comic and culminates in the death of Birdman. However, not before throwing the passe bird a bone and letting him perish in a doughty battle fine of a first class sign into Valhalla. Side by side with Peanut (Birdboy) and Birdgirl who survive, Class 1 hero Harvey engages Class 5 villain Nitron in a fight to achieve the city. I enjoyed this DVD position as the humor is well written and the characters are quite certain with my favorites being X the Eliminator, Potamus, Zardo (X’s BFF and secret admirer) and of course Peanut. Is it worth your money? I would say yes but you really need the season 1 and season 2 DVD sets to fully relish the ultimate demise of Harvey and the development of all the characters.

So far so good, good first impression
Costco had it for $379. We decided to give it a try. Setup was quick and painless, with the only tools required being a medium phillips-head screwdriver for attaching the base. The remote is responsive and easy to use. The picture is rather spectacular especially considering the price. I see some other reviews online complaining about contrast, but this unit states a 10,000:1 contrast ratio on the box and looked great from first turn-on. I have felt no need to change the factory settings and have noticed no display artifacts. The tuner works great and picks up some cable channels none of our other TVs have found. (Some might even be worth watching!) The captioner (which I use) is very configurable and readable. The sound is fine, too, and the DVD player works well in our usage so far.

It has a fluorescent backlight, as LED backlighting hasn’t come to low-end units like this one. So, the finite lifetime of the backlight will probably limit this (and all other fluorescent-backlit LCD TVs) to three-to-five years of usage. Plasma and OLED TVs have about the same lifetime for different reasons. Shrug. If you want longer life, go for LED backlighting, but you’ll pay.

But I must say, for a “low-end” unit, it certainly cuts a great first impression. It’s only been a few days, so I can’t attest to reliability, but Costco doubles the manufacturer’s warranty and offers its Concierge service for free. So far, I’m impressed.

Poor picture quality – lack of contrast and accurate colors
We put a movie in and immediately thought there had to be something wrong. There was very little contrast. Any scene where the lighting was not bright, characters looked more like a shadow because all features were lost without contrast. The colors were off too. After some adjusting of factory settings, it got a little better. But there are much better TVs out there for the price paid for this set, even if you have to purchase a separate DVD player. But if you really need a combo unit and don’t need great picture quality, this will suffice.

Sylvania LD320SSX
This TV has a great picture and adequate sound quality to enjoy in a medium size room such as your typical 14×14 ft size bedroom. It did take a little fiddling around to get my ComCast DVR to talk to it in 1080i but it will do it just fine. It took a little more fiddling around to get the picture to fill the screen (use HD zoom) on the ComCast remote. The DVD plays just fine and is not picky about about old DVDs. We like this set alot.

personally I like alot of action in my anime with a decent fable, for me the anecdote dosn’t have to be all that astronomical.Witchblade on the other hand has a pleasurable tale but in this volume I feel the action is lacking. The writers chose to concentrate more on having the characters doing other thigs rather that have them fight and I was dissapointed because of that. and because of that I don’t reflect I will explore this series again or at least not for a long time when I’m bored and I’ve forgotten what this anime is all about. I impartial treasure lots of violence in my anime thats all.

This is one of the best volumes yet in my idea. Now, with the Witchblade series come the slay things heat up as Douji Group Industries comes under fire and a current clone blade emerges. Masane finds out how worthy the Witchblade truly is and an astounding status twist takes dwelling at the NSWF. This is obvious to catch the audiences attention as Masane now fights for her life, cherish, and freedom to live with her daughter in peace.

POOR QUALITY EDELBROCK CARB 750 CFM
I’ve ordered 3 carburetors during the past 1 years and the first two were Edelbrock’s Thunder Series 500 & 650 CFMs w/Endurashine. Both were beautiful and worked to perfection. When I changed my heads & cam, I decided to order the Edlebrock 750 CFM, 1407 and save a few dollars (versus the Thunder/Endurashine). Well that turned out to be a major mistake. The carburetor arrived and I immediately noticed the plastic cover bag did not appear new and the carb base plate had nicks/scratches. Also, it was missing the base gasket. I used my old gasket and thought the nicks/scratches would not affect the performance of the carburetor, so I installed it. The car was running rich (it was fine with the Thunder 650 CFM) so I started to fine tune the carb, and that’s when I noticed the right air/fuel mixture screw was loose–should not be; the spring & close tolerance of the screw should keep the screw snug throughout all adjustments. I should have checked these screws before installing the carb…it was totally unexpected. When turning the screw to within 1 turn of the stop, the screw was snug, but the carb was out of tune. Turning the screw to an optimal setting (RPM/Idle), and the screw was loose. It’s all about quality and I’m very disappointed with Edelbrock’s quality control and Amazon.com’s quality control WRT inspecting their packages.

This latop is well worth the money
I’ve had this laptop almost a year now and at first it was faster than my dual core Intel desktop and I have always been impressed with the performance. From startup to bootup is less than 30 seconds, working in Video editing programs which FREQUENTLY use a lot of memory, it still performs as good as a high-level desktop. Wireless is easy to get setup and works very well through walls. Skype works as fast as broadband, have had no issues and have run the new Windows 7 beta flawlessly. So if you are looking for a laptop that outperforms most on the marker, this is it. And if you want one that can easily be upgraded with software and hardware, again look no further.

It works… barely (D300/D90 user)
Picked this up for my wife for our current trip to Hong Kong and Vietnam (we’re in Vietnam at the moment) and I just couldn’t wait to get back to write this review.

The good:

- It adds GPS data to your photos.
- 3 indicators of GPS quality (red, flashing green – accurate, solid green – most accurate).

The bad:

- The sync time is so bad as to make this unusable. It takes minutes to sync, even outside. Get a full “solid green” sync, power off the unit, power it back on and it can take several minutes to sync.
- It only works outdoors. And by outdoors I mean a completely unobstructed view of the skies. Don’t hold your hand over it, not in a car, train, bus or standing just inside a window or under a tree – outside straight up to the stars.
- Popup flash does not work when the GPS unit is attached to the hot shoe (not enough clearance for it to rise).

Our experience:

The very first thing you’ll do is disable AF-S auto enable/disable meaning that GPS unit will always draw power even when the camera is on and you’re not shooting. Why? Because if it’s auto on/off with AF-S, it will turn on and off constantly, never syncing up.

The very second thing you’ll do is stop turning your camera on and off when you’re not shooting. My wife had to train herself to negate one of her favourite things about D-SLRs – instant on/off, because every time she powered off the body, it would take forever to re-sync when she wanted another quick snapshot a few minutes later. And this was outside! Be prepared to bring extra batteries (my wife and I have 4 among our two bodies).

I’m eBay’ing this as soon as we get home. HUGE disappointment.

Somehow every cell phone in existence can get GPS inside of a house and car, yet this dedicated $200 device which costs the same or more than some cellphones with GPS (like the iPhone) can’t do its one thing well. Color us disappointed

Please, don’t reward Nikon by buying this. It’s terrible.

First impression – works as advertised
I bought this unit to allow me to geotag photos from an upcoming trip to the Grand Canyon in a couple of weeks and to the Dominican Republic later. I attached it to the shoe mount of my D-90 first, and then to the shoulder-strap mount (included). From a cold start right out of the box, it locked on to at least 3 satellites (solid green indicator) within 30 seconds. Afterward, it required no more than 2-3 seconds to get a locked.

It records latitude & longitude (d-m-s), elevation (m), and UTC date/time. I examined the test photos using the Geotag feature of Nikon’s View NX photo browser, which connects to Google Map / Satellite. The tag was within 10 feet (if not exactly on) of the spot where I snapped the photos.

Update: After several days of use, I’m very pleased with this device. However, be aware that the unit is powered by the camera’s battery. There are two power modes – ALWAYS ON (as long as the camera is on) & AUTO METER OFF, where the GPS shuts off with the automatic shutdown of the camera’s exposure meters (to preserve battery life). The downside to the AUTO METER OFF mode is that you have the give the GPS time to re-acquire a satellite lock before it will tag your photos (in most cases, a few seconds). Because of this, I like to set it for always on – I want it to be ready to tag whenever I’m ready to shoot. The downside of this is if you forget to turn your camera off when you’re not shooting, the GPS will drain your battery. In other words, be sure to have a fully charged second battery.

Better than no GPS, but not by much!
I have been waiting for this product to come available since I bought my Nikon D90 the first week it was released. I expected this GPS to be similar to other GPS devices I have, ie, my phone, car, and even a USB GPS unit that plugs into my computer (I used it before I got a car that had one built in). I am sadly disappointed in its performance.

I hooked up the unit and turned it on. It never received a signal within the house, blinking red the whole time (which was expected). However, when I took it to my deck, which has an open unobstructed view of the sky, it took it over 80 seconds to get a solid green light (meaning connected to 3+ satellites). 2 seconds later, it starts blinking green (meaning connected to 2 satellites, less accurate). Then it turned solid green again. I placed my hand over the top of it – not touching it – and within 5 seconds, it was blinking red (no satellites). I’m of the opinion that this GPS is not of the same caliber as a typical GPS – and what is frustrating is that I did PAY a LOT more than a typical GPS!!

Shouldn’t I expect it to get a signal and keep it longer? Even my car GPS would get a signal within 20 seconds! My fear is that if I’m walking a park and get underneath a tree, it’ll lose it’s signal altogether and those pictures will not be properly tagged. I guess it’s good for those “open field” pictures.

Very disappointed – better than nothing, but not by much.
